I am a multimedia communications and journalism professional with years of experience in storytelling for a variety of audiences. Most recently, I have worked on communications teams for the California Democratic Party and Swanson Communications, LLC, focusing on social media and press engagement. 

I have excelled on political communications teams for local, statewide, and federal races in the 2024 and 2025 election cycle and outreach positions across the 2020, 2022, and 2024 cycles. I have also worked in science and technology communications through my journalism work and research with the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group. 

I work as the Opinion Editor for Mustang News, Cal Poly's campus newspaper. I oversee all stories published in the Opinion section and manage a team of opinion and satire columnists. Previously, I wrote for The San Diego Union-Tribune Community Voices Contributor. My topics of interest include politics, technology, and education. I've previously been featured in several San Diego publications and am always looking to expand my work to new audiences.    

I also have experience working with non-political social media communications and marketing. I have created all social media graphics for the San Diego Growlers, a professional team in the Ultimate Frisbee Association, for the past two seasons. I also serve as the Media Director for the Cal Poly Men's Ultimate B-Team, where I manage our social media presence and podcast. 

I plan to graduate in March 2026 with a degree in Political Science as part of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo's Honors Program.
