I am a multimedia communications and journalism professional with years of experience in storytelling for a variety of audiences. I have excelled on political communications teams for local, statewide, and federal races in the 2024 election cycle and outreach positions across the 2020, 2022, and 2024 cycles. I have also worked in science and technology communications through my journalism work and research with the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group. 

I work as the Opinion Editor for Mustang News, Cal Poly's campus newspaper. I oversee all stories published in the Opinion section and manage a team of opinion columnists. I also write for The San Diego Union-Tribune Community Voices Contributor. My topics of interest include politics, technology, and education. I've previously been featured in several San Diego publications and am always looking to expand my work to new audiences.    

I also have experience working with social media communications and marketing. I have created all social media graphics for the San Diego Growlers, a professional team in the Ultimate Frisbee Association, for the past two seasons. I also serve as the Media Director for the Cal Poly Men's Ultimate B-Team, managing our social media presence and podcast. I also oversaw social media outreach and created graphics for Jim Cogan for PRJUSD in the 2022 election. Through these experiences, I've become proficient in both Adobe Photoshop and Canva. 

Outside of my communications and journalism work, I am an honors political science student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I also have significant experience working with political organizations, technology and public policy, and nonprofits.
